Quackerstone Duck Racing

How can anyone resist a place called Quackerstone Duck Racing.

It was something I had to see to believe

On arriving I instantly started to giggle. Rubber duckies?

Yep... A rubbie duckie obstacle course and that's when the fun began.

With my trusty sidekick, Nacho, joining me on this adventure we rezzed a couple of ducks (click the red button) and the fun began.

The ducks appeared at the starting gate.   We climbed on and Nacho counted us down, then it was all on for love or money.

I didnt make it through the first gate without bursting into laughter at the seeing my avatar kicking wildly trying to get the duck to go faster.

To add fuel to the flame a little bell goes off when you go through a power up and off you zoom with a sudden burst of speed, not so good when you are trying to turn.

Bump into anything and your duck squeaks which send this rider back into fits of giggles.

The course is harder than it looks with some evil left and right hand turns straight after a power up.  The determination on our faces was almost palatible and I'm sure if we had been in voice we would have deafened each other with the howls of laughter that woke both of my children from their sleeps.

When we joined by Nic his excuse for failing so badly was

[04:54:37] Nic: ok I had a duck with a drug problem obviously
[04:57:03] Nic: my duck was either in need of, or just coming out of, rehab

Once you have completed the course check to see whether you have made it into the top 10 hall of fame.

Only in Second Life. Gotta love it.
