Murder in Skull Creek

While looking through the showcase in search I noticed this little gem and decided to try it out… I wasn’t expecting much because usually these things aren’t as good as you would think but WOW, this thing rocks arse.

You land in Skull Creek to find out there has been a murder, and your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to act as the detective and work out  who commited this henious crime.

There are 62 things you have to do in total, the first being that you need to find the detective’s notebook. (It’s in the sherrif’s office on his desk)

There are fifty clues you have to find.  They are all listed in the notebook which you wear and are ticked off as you find them.   You have to look at EVERYTHING.  Click on EVERYTHING.   You must also “Speak” to 12 witnesses, one of which commited the crime.
At the end of this fabulous quest you get a key from the office, confront the murderer and when you work it out correctly you get a prize ticket that allows you to get lots of fabulous gifts for completing the game.

The event was interesting, hard yet intriguing.
I’ve been in SL now for 4 years and I can in all honesty say this was by far one of the most well thought out and well designed mystery quests I have found.   I thoroughly recommend it for every sister and anyone else you know who likes a little intrigue.

Oh, and to help you out just a little, you can cheat a tad and turn your beacons on and look for scripted objects for touch only.  I can tell you that even doing that it was damn hard to find everything.   Be prepared for lag.  But worth the effort.
Good lucky with the crime solving everyone.
