While searching the showcase for interesting places I came across the Pyri Funfair. Obviously a carnival was what immediately springs to mind with a funfair, but what I arrived at was that and much much more.
After having a look around at some of the stalls I looked at the Tunnel of Love and realised there was more to this than meets the eye. I purchased a ticket from the ticket booth for $0L and soon learned that you need to wear that ticket at all times from here on in. Next I climbed into the carriage on the track that would carry me through the tunnel and away we went.
Be prepared, this is not your ordinary Tunnel of Love. After falling through the floor I landed in a cavern and there the adventure began. You must find your way out of the caverns but, be ready, there are lots of things in here that will “kill” you. You will be tp’d home and will need to return to the funfair to start it all again.
Be careful where you stand, or what you touch. The maze is a challenge that will drive you mad, but there are gifts along the way that you can collect. Some will give you jewellery, some will give you supplies, some will kill you but you wont know which.
The trick to get out is to go DOWN, two levels in fact, but where you go down you will have to work out.
This little adventure wasn’t going to beat me. I died numerous times and it took 2 days to work out but it was definitely an adventure worth the effort.
Remember in SL there is no need to be bored. There is always something to tease your mind. Give it a go. I dare you.
