A Forest Feast

This day began with a search for beauty and that is what I found. Forest Feast was my destination but what I found was much more. Spred over a couple of sims this whole area was a delight.

Basing my explorations on the map I found near the landing point I stepped forth.

It is truly a feast for the eyes being a showcase of landscaping that you can purchase on site.

I wandered through gorgeous gardens full of colour, flowing fountains, tigers roaming the parks, various swings and poses until I came to the steps of a quaint house you are welcome to have a brief stay in.

(Yes there is even a bed, but don't get carried away... there are just two sleeping poses here).

Further exploration and I walked under a bridge into a field of wildflowers.

Gorgeous colours abound and as I walked through the field I could almost smell the sweet blossoms.

The other side of the field hid tent like pavillions which housed some of the flora on display.

In the distance I spied something in the trees and so I went to investigate and found... a treehouse, a little bigger than the ones you might have played in as a child.

The view from the deck was stunning to say the least.

From there I spied a rainbow and wanting to know what was at the end of it I popped on over.

Creeping through the flowers I spied a mermaid seemingly trapped in a jar. Or was that just my reflection.

A number of mermaid outfits and Ao's are on offer at the other end of the rainbow.

Up on a hill I noticed a Gothic castle and for the first time I wanted one.

It is stunning but what surprised me is though to looks and feels substantial it is not as big inside as one would think. It felt intimate and more like a home that others I have seen in the past. This is a place I would live with its red roses filling the path to the steps.

  1. Thanks for the info about places to visit in SL, Kay. Someday I plan to explore beyond the hub at HIP, so it's good to know a place I can come to find out what's out there worth visiting.
